FACTS. - Craigco owned land that it was subdividing. In 1979, the land was staked and soil-tested, and, according to Mickelsen, was cleared. On December 28, 1979, Sherwood & Roberts made a loan and recorded a trust deed on the property in December of 1979. During 1980-81, Mickelsen worked on the property, with some interruptions at Craigcos request. Mickelsen was not paid, and recorded notice of lien on September 30, 1981.
